It was 105 degrees here today. ICK! It wouldn't have been too bad, except that our AC /heat pump is broken and will cost thousands of dollars to replace. So for now we grin and bear it. The good thing is that this will only last a couple of days. And my Aunt in Lake Oswego has a pool...think we'll head there tomorrow. I think Texas and Oregon traded weathers...rain for heat. Can I have some rain back?

I don't even think we hit 90 degrees today in Dallas. Are sure you don't want to come back to the state that is nice and cool?
Nope, just look at the statistics buddy. I'll take a few scorching days and lots of rain in the winter over months on end of unbearable heat. :) Oh, did I mention the lovely rolling hills, beautiful majestic mountains, spectacular coastline,....need I say more?
Carrie, it's really mild here in Maine and we have lot's of sun in the winter even though it's snows. I just LOVE that. :D Maybe you should move to Maine! Jumping in a pool sounds like a good plan.
Yeah, but no Linebargers are in Oregon. And that's missing a lot!
